شدت پسندی کے سدِباب میں اِختلافِ رائے کے آداب(نبوی تعلیمات اور موجودہ تقاضے)
Abstract
Extremism, which has plagued humanity for centuries, not only undermines the foundations of society but also fosters terrorism, disrupting peace and harmony. This article emphasizes that extremism is not tied to any specific religion or sect but is a dangerous ideology that has no place in Islam. The Qur’an and the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) advocate for ease, moderation, and kindness, even in the face of differences. The Holy Prophet (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) demonstrated how to soften the hearts of enemies through compassion, thereby eliminating hatred and fostering acceptance of truth. The article highlights the importance of avoiding extremism and adopting a balanced approach in all aspects of life, including religious practices. It cites numerous examples from the life of the Prophet (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be well pleased with them), showing how they avoided harshness and extremism, even in matters of worship. The Holy Prophet (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) discouraged excessive practices in worship, such as prolonged fasting or continuous prayer, and instead encouraged moderation and ease. Furthermore, the article explores the contemporary challenges of extremism and suggests that the solution lies in adhering to the teachings of the Holy Prophet (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) and the practices of his Companions (may Allah be well pleased with them). It concludes by emphasizing that Islam is a religion of peace, tolerance, and moderation, and that any form of extremism is contrary to its true spirit. By fostering brotherhood, understanding, and adherence to the Prophet’s teachings, the Muslim community can overcome extremism and work towards the betterment of humanity.
