Character -Building and Moral Education in the Light of Iqbal’s Thought

Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s philosophy presents a comprehensive and visionary framework for the moral, intellectual, and spiritual training of youth. He emphasizes self-realization, autonomy, discipline, and creative dynamism as essential components of character building. Iqbal considers youth the driving force of societal transformation and desired to make them the bearers of a dignified and enlightened future. entrusts them with the responsibility of shaping a dignified, ethical, and progressive future. This study critically explores Iqbal’s concept of youth training and character building in the context of contemporary challenges faced by young individuals. The paper concludes that the application of Iqbal’s educational ideals can contribute significantly to developing self-reliant, ethically grounded, and socially committed youth capable of meaningful participation in the modern world
